Deer Island Operational Notification
On October 15, 2005, power to Deer Island was lost during routine maintenance at NSTar's K Street Substation in South Boston.

On April 11, 2004, Deer Island lost power when a circuit breaker tripped at NSTar's K Street Substation in South Boston.

Deer Island Operational Notification
From March 31 to April 2 a major storm occurred in the Greater Boston Area, causing a power outage and pumping failure at Deer Island Treatment Plant on April 3, 2004.
