Outfall Monitoring Science Advisory Panel (OMSAP): OMSAP advises the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MADEP) on scientific and technical matters related to the MWRA's outfall and any potential impacts of the discharge on its receiving waters. The EPA and MADEP jointly appoint members with expertise in different areas of marine ecology to serve on OMSAP.
