Water Conservation

Water is life, it’s precious and pure,

A resource that we must all ensure,

Is used with care, and not wasted away,

To ensure we have another for another day.

From the rivers to the lakes,

To the oceans that surround us,

Water is a resource we must not forsake,

Or it will be gone without a fuss.

Conservation is the key,

To keep our water flowing free,

To preserve this vital source,

For all life forms, without remorse.

Turn off the tap when you’re done,

Don’t let it run, for fun.

Fix those leaks, and drips, and drops,

And use only what’s needed, no more, no props.

Take shorter showers, and save

The water you use, for another day.

And when you water plants and trees,

Do it wisely, conserve with ease.

Water is a gift that we must protect,

For ourselves, and for the next.

So let’s all do our part,

To keep water flowing, from the start.
