Rocky Roads Lead To Beautiful Destinations
Once so dirty, hated, and sad
Now so bright, loved, and glad.
Going on a cruise one day
To Georges Island with a big hurray.
Seals swimming around the boat
Lifting up their heads
"Hello."
Happy children running around,
Exploring the Fort.
I am one of them.
Zooming around and picking up the shells on the beach
Dipping tired feet in the clear and refreshing Harbor water.
Brrrrr.
Camping with family and friends
On Lovells Island.
Playing, swimming and kayaking.
Exploring the island,
Adventure.
Found some mussels and steamed them Yummy.
Roasting marshmallows on the rocky beach.
Beautiful night sky,
rising above our heads.
The Boston skyline in the distance.
Hoping the day will never end.
Time to go to bed,
Listening to the sounds of crashing waves,
Becoming more distant.
Dreaming about next Harbor adventures,
zzz ...
