On October 16, 2017, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority will be conducting water main maintenance near 411 West St. in Hyde Park.

The maintenance work requires water mains to be isolated and will likely result in discolored water in parts of Hyde Park and Milton during a three day period starting on October 16, 2017.

If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in local pipes. Please note that iron will stain light colored items in your laundry, especially when bleach is used. Residents may want to wait for the water to clear before using it.

If you have any questions, please contact the MWRA Community Relations Manager for your city/town:
