MWRA Water Pipeline Maintenance Work
May Affect Traffic in Revere

MWRA will repair a leaking water main at Beach Street and Eaton Street in Revere starting Monday June 5. The work is expected to last 2 weeks and will likely affect traffic (map, PDF). The work will occur between the hours of 8:00am and 3:00pm Monday through Friday.

This work is not expected to cause water discoloration but it is possible. If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in local pipes. Please note that iron will stain light colored items in your laundry, especially when bleach is used.  Residents should check water clarity before washing any white or lighter colored laundry during this period of work. Residents may want to wait for the water to clear before using it.
