MWRA Work in Revere May Cause
Discolored Water in Some Surrounding Communities

On Monday, Monday January 11, 2016, MWRA will perform water main work at 630 Squire Road in Revere.

The work may result in discolored water for the following communities: Malden, Marblehead, Nahant, Peabody, Saugus, and Swampscott. The work is expected to take two days to complete.

If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in local pipes. Please note that iron will stain light colored items in your laundry, especially when bleach is used. Residents in these locations should check water clarity before washing any white or lighter colored laundry during this period of work.

For more information, please contact Jeff McLaughlin at (617) 305-5762.
