MWRA Work May Cause Discolored Water in Parts of Arlington
Map of work area

Starting Wednesday, January 6, 2016 through Friday, January 8, 2016, the MWRA, in conjunction with the Town of Arlington, will be performing work that may result in discolored water in the area of Arlington near Prospect Street and Park Avenue for a period of up to 3 days.

If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in local pipes. Please note that iron will stain light colored items in your laundry, especially when bleach is used. Residents near this location should check water clarity before washing any white or lighter colored laundry during this period of work.

For more information, please contact Jeff McLaughlin at (617) 305-5762. After hours, please call (617) 305-5950.
