On Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, the MWRA will begin construction for a blow-off retrofit on Sec. 14 at 99 Florence Street in Malden. The work should take approximately two weeks. The isolation of the water main will start on November 16, 2015 and may last up to three days. Water service to the communities will not be impacted by the work. Pressure loss, discolored water issues and traffic impacts are not anticipated.
