MWRA WORK COULD CAUSE DISCOLORED WATER IN SOME STONEHAM NEIGHBORHOODS

On Thursday, June 8th, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority will reactivate its Meter 138, located at the intersection of Main Street and North Border Road. The area from Main Street to Marble Street and from Marble Street to North Border Road may experience some discolored water as a result of this reactivation. While any discolored water is perfectly safe to drink, residents of these areas should avoid laundering any white or light colored items for two or three days after the reactivation.
